Hunter M. Klein is a Partner with Green & Barton. He was born and raised in Northwest Houston to a family with deep Texas roots and a strong work ethic. Hunter is an Eagle Scout, and graduated with a degree in Political Science from Baylor University before attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school Hunter was an editor of the Houston Journal of International Law, and a member of the Interscholastic Mock Trial team.
Hunter has tried cases in both state and federal courts, and argued before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He was part of the briefing team that obtained the first ever ruling in United States Federal Court that medical marijuana was insurable in the state of Colorado. Hunter has an extensive knowledge of all manner of insurance law including coverage, scope disputes, construction and code issues, appraisal, and appeal. Hunter has experience in state and federal courts all over Texas and Colorado, and has consistently achieved outstanding results for his clients. Hunter is licensed in Texas and Florida, and admitted to practice in Federal Courts in Texas and Colorado.
